Jamie Lettire is a recent addition to the Cutting Edge family team. Jamie grew up in San Jose playing high school softball at Presentation High. Right out of high school Jamie was a highly recruited pitcher and player. Not only was she a great pitcher but she was known for great hitting ablility. She set her academics sights high and graduated from Princeton University after playing four years of Division I softball.
At Princeton, Jamie had an incredble career:
Third-Team All-America Honors as a Utility Player
Ivy League Player of the Year during her Sophomore year.
Single-season and career home run records, with 38 homeruns over her four years.
As a hitting instructor, Jamie works with her hitter from both sides of the plate. She can develop mechanics as well as pitch to her students. She teaches them what the pitcher is thinking and helps her players to advance their hitting beyond, "see it and hit it."
