Cutting Edge CEO & Founder Leann Emery

Leann Emery is the founder of Cutting Edge Softball. She pitched for Division 1 San Jose State University, playing on the Spartan's top 20 NCAA team from 1987 to 1991.

Leann's expertise as a Pitching Instructor is legendary, and evidenced by the amazing success of her students. Many have been awarded Division I athletic scholarships to top universities, including Stanford, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Penn State, Brown, Univ of Santa Barbara,Hawaii Hilo and Santa Clara. Leann's students have also won  9CCS Championships, and she has produced three All-State 1st Team pitchers.

In addition to attaining success as a Pitching Instructor, Leann has coached softball at all levels: club travel teams, high school teams and community college teams. 

In 2011, one of Leann's former pitching students; Tori Nyberg was inducted into the San Mateo Hall of Fame for her outstanding pitching career.

Leann is also the owner of Little Movers; Mobile Physical Education Program.  Teaching motor develop and Physical Ed to children in the Bay Area ages 2yrs-6th grade.
