Lauren Ermitano

Pitching / Hitting Instructor

Cutting Edge is very happy to have Lauren on board with our staff.  Lauren has become one of our premiere pitching instructors at CES.  She gives great instruction and has a wonderful rapport with all of our students.  While she also can give hitting lessons at CES, her demand right now is pitching.   She is a great co-worker and is an excellent addition to our CES family.

Cal State Monterey Bay

Lauren Ermitano joined the Otter raft after performing as one of the top hitters and pitchers in the Coast Division–North. She led the Renegades to an outright league title in 2011 and a co–championship in 2012 as a two–time, first team all–conference selection…named team MVP in 2012…as a sophomore in 2012…led Ohlone and finished second in the conference with nine home runs, including a walk–off blast in game two of the Ohlone’s California Superregional against the College of San Mateo…also finished second in the conference with 47 RBIs while hitting .409 and scoring 32 runs…in the circle, she went 7–2 while finishing third in the conference with a 2.55 ERA…also enjoyed a tremendous freshman season at the plate, leading Ohlone and finishing third in the conference with a .435 batting average…tied for fourth with 35 RBIs.

High School

Ermitano also had tremendous success at the prep level as a four–time first team All–Hayward Area Athletic League…led Castro Valley to four HAAL titles…named the HAAL Player of the Year as a junior and Pitcher of the Year as a senior…hit .453 while leading the Trojans with four home runs, 23 runs and 29 RBIs as a senior…was also impressive in the circle with a 17–6 record and a 1.89 ERA…even better at the plate as a junior in 2009 with a .476 average, 30 RBIs and six home runs (all team bests)…led her travel ball teams to three top 10 finishes at Western Nationals, including a third place finish with the Wolfpack 18s in 2010.

Personal

Lauren Played One Year at California State University Monterey Bay and majored in Kinesiology. She is currently in the process of getting a Master’s degree and wants to Coach.
